  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, penne, or your choice)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil and butter for cooking
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper, then sear for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked to your liking. Let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.
  4. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until thickened and season with salt and pepper. Toss cooked pasta in the creamy sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  5. Add sliced steak just before serving and garnish with fresh herbs.
