Description

Smoked Sausage and Potato Bake is a savory, one-pan meal that combines tender baby creamer potatoes, flavorful smoked sausage, and vibrant vegetables for a hearty dish that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs baby creamer potatoes (halved)
  • 1 1/2 lbs beef smoked sausage (sliced into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 large yellow onion (diced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Slap Ya Mama seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 4 Tbsp butter (cubed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss halved potatoes with olive oil, Slap Ya Mama seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well-coated.
  3. Add sliced smoked sausage, diced onion, and green bell pepper to the bowl; gently combine everything.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and dot the top with cubed butter.
  5. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender.
  6. Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving hot.
