  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500ºF (260ºC), adjusting the rack to the lower third.
  2. Carefully slice each cauliflower head in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 1 ½-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the cauliflower steaks and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly.
  5. Place the steaks on a baking sheet, cover with aluminum foil, and roast for 5 minutes. Remove the foil and roast for an additional 10 minutes; flip each steak and roast for another 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
