  • 8 oz butter, room temperature (for frosting)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (for frosting)
  • 7 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease three 8-inch cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully incorporated.
