  • 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine or linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving about a cup of pasta water.
  2. In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat, sauté garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 2-3 minutes), then stir in crab meat, broth, cream, salt, pepper, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta back into the pot with reserved pasta water as needed until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Serve warm topped with remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
