Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups white granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup oil (canola or vegetable)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup marshmallow creme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare a 9×9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and egg yolk; beat on high speed until pale (about 5 minutes). Add melted butter, oil, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
  5. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan. Melt marshmallow fluff in the microwave for easy dolloping; swirl into the batter with a knife.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes until slightly wet toothpick comes out clean but not covered in batter.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
