Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz brick-style cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups thick salsa
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning using a handheld mixer until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9" baking dish.
  3. If necessary, strain liquid from the salsa to prevent sogginess and then layer it over the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Top with shredded cheese and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
