  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 12 maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. For the brownie base, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract. Combine dry ingredients separately and fold into the wet mixture. Pour into a greased 9-inch springform pan.
  3. For the cheesecake filling, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract and sour cream.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer in the springform pan and bake for 50–60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly.
  5. Allow cooling gradually in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  6. Serve topped with warm hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, nuts, cherries, and sprinkles if desired.
