- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar with pumpkin pie spice for topping.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla, then stir in pumpkin puree.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
- Scoop dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart and sprinkle with spiced sugar topping.
