Ingredients
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped or in morsels (for ganache)
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the semisweet chocolate and butter together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted mixture with sugars and whisk until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then gradually fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- For the ganache, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate and let sit before whisking until smooth.
- Once brownies have cooled completely, cut into small squares or rectangles and dip or drizzle with ganache. Finish with Fleur de sel on top.
