  • 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced (about ½ cup))
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
  2. Toss shrimp with blackened seasoning, then sauté in a skillet with vegetable oil until pink; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook seasoned steak cubes until browned; remove from pan.
  4. Melt butter in the skillet, sauté diced onion and garlic, then stir in heavy cream until simmering.
  5. Mix in parmesan until melted; add cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak back to the skillet.
  6. Season to taste and garnish with parsley before serving.
